Case Study:  Multi-service and multi-product New Age business performs poorly on the search engines
 
Problem:
An internationally known new age healer's website listed multiple products and services, and had been designed with frames.  Many pages were orphaned as a result, where users would find the subpage but often would have no idea how to find the website home page.  A site map dump indicated that there were hundreds of web pages that were linked to others without any intuitive logic, as a result of the owner's often impromptu decisions.
 
Solution:
A website redesign was initiated, so that the content was no longer on framed pages.  Each page on the site map was re-mapped to a subcategory that made topical sense.  A new website that focused only on the healer's primary line of products was launched so that users could find her products when searching with keywords on the problem that they wanted to solve.  Two topical blogs were also introduced to increase her website presence, and to provide a forum for dynamically related content that would be current and related to current problems and their solutions.
